It was 29°F when I started my walk this morning. I completed the Maple Street Loop in 31:35. They say it will get to 69 this afternoon, and then a deep freeze will set in for a while. A talented colt named War Horse has already pulled out of the Southwest Stakes, scheduled for Monday at Oaklawn Park.
Tonight I walked the Levy Loop in 30:15.
