My downhill, 150-yard tee shot with a 6-iron landed above the hole, stopped, and rolled directly toward the flag. From our perspective, depth was hard to determine, but the ball appeared to trickle toward the flag at a favorable pace. "Go in," I yelled. It rolled just past and stopped on the downhill side. When we arrived at the green, it was two feet short of the cup for a virtual tap-in birdie.

Levy Trail South/Rock Dreams

My walk today offered evidence that my blazing time from Tuesday was legitimate. I walked Levy Trail South this afternoon in 29:59(.30). It helped to confirm my belief that the two-mile Levy Trail Loop is ever-so-slightly shorter than Levy Trail South and has also contributed empirical evidence that a minor nutritional adjustment has positively affected my performance. We'll see how that works out. ...As a plug for http://hypoglycemicdreams.blogspot.com/, Rock—the author—now promises that no one-paragraph post will take more than 30 seconds* to read, this limit beginning with those published on and since Sept. 21, 2020.

Levy Trail Loop

This one's hard to figure. I walked the Levy Trail Loop this morning, just strolling along, not pushing it at all, in 29:45. I gave it an over-under of 33 as I walked past 38th Street. Perhaps I somehow accidentally stopped my watch en route. There was a point at which I looked to see what time of day it was, so I guess that could've happened. The thing is, I haven't walked two miles this easily in at least ten years. But, who knows? Maybe waking up with Joe's butt on my mouth is the Fountain of Youth.

Burns Park Championship Course/Levy Trail South

Ed Pennington and I both played the front nine of Burns Park Championship Course this morning in 43. I had 3 pars, 5, bogies, 1 triple, and used 17 putts. Pain in Ed's left foot kept us from continuing. The course was far too crowded for me to play further as a single. ...Late this afternoon, I walked Levy Trail South in 34:31.

Burns Park Championship Course

Ed Pennington and I played Burns Park Championship Course. Ed scored 94 and I scored 95. I lost the scorecard, but I know I had nines of 43 and 52. I birdied No. 2, a 100-yard par-three, with an eight-foot putt. I'll guess I used about 34 putts, give or take. It was a nearly perfect morning and afternoon, though the course is still quite wet from the snow and subsequent heavy rain.
