Fort Roots
We walked over Fort Roots this morning from Burns Park Golf Course, down the other side to the river, and back, in 1:49:49. It was almost exactly six miles. I was at First Tee an hour later, where I scored a 50 for nine holes from the middles. I had 1 par, 3 bogies, 4 doubles, 1 triple, used 20 putts, and now believe the death penalty should apply to people who steal putters.

Overlook Loop
It's a mile from the North Little Rock Big Dam Bridge parking lot to the base of Overlook Drive. The loop up and down Overlook is two miles. I walked and jogged the four miles total this morning in 51:22, and one lap of the Overlook Loop in 26:16. That's nearly twenty-five minutes faster than I went with Rev. Bob and Brass last week.

Hash
I walked and jogged with the Hash this afternoon from Allison the med student's house not far from downtown. Tom Zaloudek and I were out for about forty minutes.

First Tee/Levy Trail
I played three holes at First Tee this afternoon before lightning and hail forced me under the awning of the church behind the No. 3 green. I walked back to the clubhouse through ankle-deep water. I had 1 par, 1 bogie, and 1 double, and used 5 putts. After I got home, I walked two miles on the Levy Trail in 30:14.

Levy Trail
I walked and jogged three miles at noon on the Levy Trail in 38:27, and for the last ten minutes through hard rain. Everything I wore is in the bathroom.

Overlook
We walked across the Big Dam Bridge to the top of Overlook Drive and back this morning in 1:16:19, for a total of four miles. The weather was perfect. There were lots of pretty women and good-looking dogs out.

Levy Trail
I walked with the geezers this morning from the southern tip of the Levy Trail to Camp Robinson and back, or 6.6 miles according to Rev. Bob's watch. I also walked to join them, and back home, so went 8.3 miles in 2:19:49.
And, by the way, I lost two pounds last month, for a total of seven in two months. I weigh 175. My new goal is to be no heavier than 169 by the Midnight 50K.

Burns Park Loop
Ron and Elaine were so sore this morning that we walked the Burns Park Loop slower than two mothers. It took us a record 1:45:08.

River Trail/Hash
Erin Vratil and I jogged and walked a total of about six miles this afternoon on the River Trail and across the Big Dam Bridge. We jogged the first 3.25 miles nonstop in a little over thirty-five minutes. I think we went through three miles in close to 32:45. It was nicely easy for me, and perhaps too easy for Erin. Her legs are sore from Saturday's Ouachiturd Trail 50K.
Oh, I failed to write about yesterday's Hash run. We walked and jogged from the Arkansas River to the highest peak near the Pinnacle Mountain Visitor Center. Lacey's GPS claims we covered 2.7 miles.

Ouachiturd Trail/Levy Trail/Levy Trail
I jogged and walked a total of 34:20 yesterday morning on the Ouchita Trail, with Holcomb Mosley and Erin Vratil, to cover a little over two and a half miles. Erin and I walked about two miles on the Levy Trail last night and this morning.

Burns Park Loop
Erin Vratil and I walked and jogged the Burns Park Loop this morning in 1:18:30, which is darn close to a record for me. Our splits were 23:38, 27:44, and 27:08.

Burns Park Loop
We walked and jogged the Burns Park Loop this morning in 1:27:58, except I think Bill, Y.T., and I went a little bit longer than the ordinary 4.8 miles. I tried to shortcut, and got a little bit lost.

Pinnacle Mountain
We walked from the east base parking lot at Pinnacle Mountain past the Visitor's Center to an overlook I had forgotten about. I hadn't been there since, I think, late in 2003. We were out for 2:12:38.

Cooks Landing
We walked and jogged across the Big Dam Bridge from Cooks landing and back this morning, and were out for 1:24:14. We might have gone five miles, but I'll say more like 4.7.

I walked and jogged three miles on the Levy Trail tonight in 40:38.

York Gary Loop plus...
NASHVILLE—I thought it would be raining hard by the time I got home, so I walked the York Gary Loop, plus about two more miles on the paths of Nashville City Park this afternoon. I was out for 1:01:56. It's not raining in Levy at 4:48 p.m., but there are tornados everywhere else. I'm holding on to my couch, and have several rolls of quarters in my pockets, so don't worry; I'll be fine.

Burns Park Loop/Levy Trail
We walked the Burns Park Loop this morning in 1:34:42, minus Bill Brass, plus Hugh. This evening I walked two miles on the Levy Trail in 32:38, and am now listening to the Reds. They lead the Cardinals 1-0 after five innings in St. Louis. Bronson Arroyo is four perfect innings away from a perfect game. I counted eight other exercisers on the Levy Trail, including two huge African American women in sweatsuits, and a man jogging beside a little girl on a bike with training wheels.

Levy Trail
I jogged and walked five miles on the Levy Trail this morning 59:54, with splits of 11:42, 11:39, 11:55 (I jogged all of the first three miles in 35:16), 13:26, and 11:13 (I only walked one minute of the last mile, and then started running faster than two motherfuckers to break an hour).

I walked two miles on the Levy Trail at lunchtime in 31:11, and probably went a little over two with the Hash in Boyle Park this afternoon.

Levy Trail
I walked and jogged six miles on the Levy Trail this morning in 1:18:36, with splits of 13:06, 12:53, 13:28, 13:32, 13:15, and 12:22. I jogged the first of each five minutes to maintain a 10:55:00 fifty-mile pace, which pleased me almost as much as my current lead among the Levi Ghetto Cats. Now if the Reds will just win their season-opener this afternoon.
