Levy Trail South
It's a nice, warm, dry mid-afternoon in Levy. I wore a kind of heavy polo shirt and hardly perspired a drop as I walked Levy Trail South in 32:40. They say it will be like this for the Traveller tomorrow.

Levy Trail/DFL
The Geezers walked all the way out to Camp Robinson and back on the Levy Trail this morning. I was out for 1:52:00.
Oh yeah. I failed to note that my most recent streak of days in which I covered at least two miles made it to two. My current streak is at one.
The Trojan Men defeated the Democrat Football League Green Bay Packers last weekend, 127.93-85.06. We will try to win this weekend. Unfortunately, our star quarterback—Aaron Rodgers—has a bye week, so we'll be hard pressed, even with all the fine players we've added to our roster via some outlandish sandbagging.

Levy Trail Loop/DFL
I walked the Levy Trail Loop early this afternoon in 32:51. My foot was pain-free.
By god, I'm gonna try to get another streak going, though I do of course realize that one will be much more difficult to maintain now that I'm eight years and two months older than when I started the last one (which lasted five years, eleven months, and twenty-five days).
The DFL Green Bay Packers are in last place after a 118.96-56.51 loss to the Carpetbaggers last weekend. We picked up a much more likely star—Chicago Bear rookie running back Jordan Howard, who has a reasonable chance at stardom. I have modified my sandbagging for Week 3. All we need to do is lose, not get creamed (though that would be fine, too). We're down, but I can still imagine a shot at the playoffs.

Burns Park Loop
I walked a little over half of the Burns Park Loop this morning with the Geezers. A pain in my right foot persuaded me to turn back and take a short cut to my car. I was out for 55:20.
The Sherwood Shigellas defeated the Green Bay Packers, 107.37-81.24, in the first week of the Democrat Football League schedule. We did not reach our goal of having the league's lowest points total but were second in that regard and got the free agent we wanted, a back for the Oakland Raiders who has an outside chance of becoming a star. We'll see. He is an undrafted rookie from Southern Mississippi named Jalen Richard.
I PLAN TO STAB...
...the next person who says "way" after someone else says "no way."
OVERHEARD
"Brilliant. Could've been great. Threw it all away."

Lakewood Lake No. 3
I walked with the Geezers this morning from Lakewood Lake No. 3 for 1:15:59.

Levy Trail North/Hash/DFL
I walked Levy Trail North late this morning in 31:48. The air in Levy is drier than a Denny's steak. Last night I woke up at 4 a.m. and had to pull a blanket out of the back bedroom closet.
This afternoon I walked and jogged pete-pretty Elizabeth Kimble's Hash run in 53:46. We began and ended on the edge of the veterans' cemetery not far from the airport.
The DFL Green Bay Packers want to lose. Our team is so down this season that we need the best possible shot we can get at solid waiver-wire pickups. Consequently, we hope to lose and score as few points as possible through the first three weeks. The hope here is that we can pick up as many potential budding superstars as possible. One would be enough. This time we are not clearly sandbagging. We have studied hard in order to put out the worst team we can, which on the other hand at least appears like a one that has a reasonable chance.

Hash/Levy Trail Loop
I walked for an hour and twenty-six minutes on Hash run set Sunday afternoon from the parking lot of an insurance office near the Arkansas River in North Little Rock. Several watches and telephones said we went about 4.5 miles.
This morning I walked the Levy Trail Loop in 31:54.
