Holman Street Loop

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.—I walked two laps of the Holman Street Loop this morning in 47:16.

QUESTION OF THE DAY Why does anyone put up signs that say, "NO DUMPING"? Is dumping allowed anywhere? I guess they're afraid some are not aware of the general dumping prohibition. "Rats, honey. I thought for sure I could dump all this crap in the middle of this neighborhood on Holman Street."

"It might become just like the the hanging-chad deal, which happened in 2008, I think." — guest on host Jen White's NPR 1A program*

*we at Pam's Boy wonder how much hair Jen White pulled out of her head based on this single hour of network radio
