Ron, Elaine, Jayme, Kayla, and I walked for about an hour and twenty minutes through Burns Park this morning. I think Elaine said we went something like 4.3 miles.
QUESTION OF THE DAY
What would the African-Americans from the mid-1960s who first asked to be called "black" rather than "colored" have thought if someone had said, "That's cool, but would it be okay if, fifty years from now, we lump all non-white people into a category that we'll call 'people of color?' Not 'colored people' but 'people of color?' "
