HOT SPRINGS—I walked around the inside of Oaklawn's facility this morning, to stay out of a literal mid-American typhoon, for 39:11. Today is the Arkansas Derby, so, with the new schedule, there are three weeks left in the season. Through 11 weeks, my original $40 voucher has dwindled to $22.
