I walked Levy Trail South through steady mist this morning in 30:58.
This evening, after a nice interview with Stewart Elliott, I jogged for a total of twelve minutes to complete the Levy Trail Loop in 28:48. Elliott was Smarty Jones' jockey in 2004 when Smarty won the Southwest and Rebel Stakes, the Arkansas and Kentucky Derbies, and the Preakness Stakes before losing the Belmont Stakes maybe thirty yards short of the wire.
