War Memorial Golf Course

John, Ed, and I played War Memorial Golf Course this morning. I scored 82, Ed 84, and John 97. I had nines of 39 and 43, with 1 birdie, 4 pars, 7 bogies, and 6 doubles. I got up and down on 4 of 9 chips within 10 yards (44.4 percent) and used 35 putts. It was hotter than two motherfuckers. At 3:11 p.m., it's 96°F with a heat index of 106, the hottest it's been since at least two goddamn summers ago.
