WILLIAMS JUNCTION—Pete Ireland of Benton leads runs on trails and such west of town a couple of times a week, and I joined today for the first time. We did an out and back from the original Midnight 50K start-finish line. I was out for 3:32:46 and probably covered close to 13 miles. Bill Brass and Sandy Venable were with me most of the way.

Is it a coincidence that the day after New York City announced it would no longer arrest people for smoking marijuana that fucking Burger King introduced a side order called Crispy Pretzel Chicken Fries?
