33rd Street Loop/Oaklawn Park

I alternated two-minute jogs with three-minute walks to complete the 33rd Street Loop in 1:04:39, with splits of 13:06, 13:05, 12:59, 12:22, and 13:07.
It was a good warmup for Oaklawn Park, where I will report on the King Cotton Stakes, a six-furlong (or sprint) for older horses (four-years-old and up). The best story is a win for Ivan Fallunovalot (which is supposed to sound like a drunk person saying, "I've been falling off a lot"). A close race between Ivan and a horse named Wilbo, either way, will also do.
Wilbo won by two lengths over Ivan. My story went well.
I lost $5.40 today and am now down $11 after six trips.

DR. DIAMOND PETE'S PICK OF THE DECADE
Oaklawn Park, Race 2: Take #7 Rock Star Status to win; bet a cold 7-8 exacta, with Rock Star Status over #8 Johnny Whip

Result: Rock Star Status finished far back
