Poplar Street Loop/Levy Trail

These were too hard this morning. I won't keep doing them if they don't get easier. I walked and jogged three laps of the one-mile Poplar Street Loop in 14:54, 14:39, and 16:17. I completed four miles in 1:01:55.
This evening I alternated four-minute walks with one-minute jogs to complete the 5.4 miles from my house to Camp Robinson and back on the Levy Trail in 1:20:32. By the way, I ran tonight in a racing singlet (or tank top) for the first time in at least twenty years. I bought one a couple of weeks ago from New Balance. It cost $10 and arrived today. I think I might buy a few more. It will be part of my race-day costume for the Midnight 50K.
