Levy

I walked randomly through Levy this morning for 38:45, starting on the Levy Trail, winding back through the old Walmart parking lot, and eventually to Kroger, where I picked up some chicken wings and a newspaper, which I took back, because I realized at the checkout stand that I didn't have my frigging wallet.

OVERHEARD
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you."
—North Little Rock policeman through the window of a cop SUV, after he'd seen me jump when I heard a vehicle driving immediately behind me on the Levy Trail. It reminded me of the fear generated by that pickup truck on the 14th fairway at Hindman, back in '06

"Another day another dollar? What do you mean? You should be rich by now, man. They fucking you, man, out'a money!""
—dude to a Levy Shell station minimart clerk
