I walked two miles on the Levy Trail this morning in 27:54. Man, my legs felt very lively. Do you reckon it was all them dumplins I ate? I think I'm going to try to make some this afternoon for the Reds game.
By the way, Bluffton was built next to a seemingly endless ridge on the rolling hills between the Arkansas River Valley and the Ouachita Mountains. It has a population of about fifty. There are fifteen or so houses, most with long front porches and screened-in back porches, and hundreds of huge trees, on about a half-mile stretch of blacktop. People there use the word "beautiful" a lot. The only buildings are the church, a post office, and a long-abandoned Masonic Lodge. The nearest store is ten miles away.
