Levy Trail

I'm sure it seems silly to some that I would go for a two-mile, walk-jog, ten hours before I'm scheduled to start a 31-mile race. I did it for at least two reasons—exercise helps me control my blood sugar, and I hoped it might help me feel a bit more confident leading up to tonight's race, which it did. I walked and jogged two miles on the Levy Trail in 29:13, and felt great. My legs were springy, and nothing hurt. My over-under for the Full Moon 50K is 8:32:32. That would get me done at about 3:32 a.m. tomorrow.
