The weather's turned ugly. It felt as though we were walking through egg drop soup this morning. We went about six miles along the River Trail and around the Burns Park soccer fields. We were out for a little over two hours, but Bill Brass and I spent twenty minutes of that sitting in the shade, waiting for two of his oatmeal candy bars to elevate my blood glucose. I got particularly wobbly, and one tube of Gu was inadequate. I'm fine now. Brass was good company. He remained perfectly calm, as I expected.
