HALLSVILLE, Texas—I walked and jogged for 32:31 through my cousin Jill's neighborhood this morning. It's called Rutland something. Maybe Rutland Court. Something like that. My legs felt fine, which pleased me almost as much as the ease with which I stepped out of bed at 5:30 a.m.
I golfed at Bayou Golf Club in Texas City, Texas, this afternoon, and scored 50 for the first nine holes. I used 17 putts.
