Cook's Landing/Hallsville

Bob McKinney, Sandy Venable, and I walked exactly 6.5 miles in 1:45:09 from Cook's Landing this morning. It was crazy windy, with gusts of nearly fifty miles an hour. Oh, yeah, let's see: that's a 13:28:50.8 fifty-mile pace. I'd have to guess what my fifty-mile pace was early this evening in Hallsville, Texas (Hallsville is part of the greater Longview metropolitan area). I walked for 24:37 through my cousin Jill Bayless' neighborhood, before she got home from work. I think I went about a mile and a half, giving me eight for the day. I know I miss Pam, Sam, and Jo.
