Nashville/York Gary Loop/Old Center Point Highway

NASHVILLE—I didn't look, so I'm not sure when I last made a Pam's Boy entry. I think a week ago Thursday. Anyway, I've gone two miles at least once day, on either the York Gary Loop, Old Center Point Highway, or on random wanders through the neighborhoods. I went, I believe, a total of six miles last Saturday, and four miles on Monday and Thursday. I walked for forty-five minutes this morning to cover a little more than three miles. My streak is about three months short of 1,000 days.

I, by the way, am in the parking lot of the Southern Belle Motel, across the Mineral Springs highway from the Walmart Super Center and the Pizza Hut were cute Samantha works (the girl, not the cat). I'm wearing a $9 Walmart polo shirt. It's, no kidding, seventy degrees at 1:40 p.m. Central.

I walked the Levy Loop last night in 28:49, and the Ghetto Cat Loop at noon today in 26:37.

38th Street Loop

I walked the 38th Street Loop this morning in 29:28.

Orange Street Loop

I walked the Orange Street Loop tonight in 41:40.

Levy Loop/38th Street Loop/Orange Street Loop

Last night at about six Central, I walked the Levy Loop in 28:12. I walked the 38th Street Loop this morning in 33:05, and walked and jogged the Orange Street Loop this evening, starting at seven o'clock, in 34:50, with splits of 12:00, 11:41, and 11:09.

Orange Street Loop/Foggy Mountain Drive Loop/Levy Loop

I walked the Orange Street Loop on Thursday morning in something like 43:30, thereabouts. I walked the two-mile Foggy Mountain Drive Loop, in Florissant, Missouri, on Friday morning in 28:40, and walked and jogged it on Saturday morning in 25:12. Early this evening, after watching the Green Bay Packers beat the Philadelphia Eagles, 21-16, in the first round of the NFL playoffs, I jogged the Levy Loop over an inch of soft snow* in 21:40, with splits of 11:21 and 10:19.

*I measured 4.75 inches on the trunk of my car at 11 p.m. Central, and it's still snowing at 11:27.
