38th Street Loop/River Trail

I walked the 38th Street Loop this morning in 32:45.

I shouldn't be self-conscious about race walking in public, particularly not on the River Trail, littered as it is by grown men riding bicycles and dressed in candy wraps, but I am. Actually, I only did the Eastern European thing for alternate minutes of the third mile, or for a total of six minutes. Otherwise I strolled or walked kind of fast, out and back from the Big Dam Bridge, in 56:51, with splits of 16:13, 14:11, 12:27, and 13:59.
