First Tee/Maple Street Loop

I drove the the North Little Rock High track to do 1000s this morning, but after I jogged a quarter, and as I stretched, at least 100 high school PE students showed up to run and walk. I said, "Fuck it," and left.

Rob Wistrand and I started nine holes at First Tee at about noon and each scored 50. I had 2 pars, 3 bogies, 2 doubles, 1 triple, and 1 quadruple, and used 18 putts. I started bogey, quad, triple, then played the final six holes at six-over. I parred No. 4 with a driver, a 180-yard four-iron, and two putts from 40 feet. Rob's scoring was even odder; he had 1 birdie, 3 pars, 2 bogies, 1 triple, 1 quadruple, and 1 hexagonal (a five-putt 10 on No. 4). So, one-over for six, 13-over for the other three.

It reached 80 for the first time this year; a bone-dry 80 that feels great.

This evening, starting at about 8 Central, I jogged the Maple Street Loop in 21:24, with splits of 10:50 and 10:34.
