They gave us chips, but mine fell off, unless someone clipped it while Geneva Hampton was talking with me. According to my watch, I ran the Little Rock 5K in 25:03, with splits of 8:07, 8:33, and 7:38, and 44 seconds for the last tenth. I'm pleased to have run that fast considering the lifelessness of my legs this morning.
I was in a good race with a tiny button the last half mile or so, but she pulled away near the finish. Afterward I heard people talking about the "amazing" nine-year-old girl. She was approximately, no kidding, 4-1, 55 pounds.
