Gimblett Loop

This was nearly a time trail. I ran the five-mile Gimblett Loop in 48:41, with splits of 10:19, 10:44, 9:27, 9:33 and 8:38. It's a tough loop; not as hard as the Park Hill Loop, but it does have the identical high point. The main difference is that the Park Hill Loop has two long, steep climbs (in Miles 2 and 4), and Gimblett one (in Mile 2). I averaged 9:44 a mile and am pleased.

Hurricane Gustav has degenerated to a breezy sprinkle in Park Hill and Levy and was pleasant to run through.
